At the Regular Council Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, Council will consider first, second and third readings of Bylaw 6072, 6030 Okanagan Landing Road Zoning Amendment Bylaw 6072, 2026. This bylaw proposes to rezone the property at 6030 Okanagan Landing Rd from AGRS - Agricultural & Rural: Small Block (Non-ALR) to MUA - Multi-Unit Acreage: Small Scale and PANS - Parks & Natural Spaces to allow a multi-family development.
As per Section 464(3) of the Local Government Act, a public hearing will not be held because:
• An Official Community Plan (OCP) is in effect for this area.
• The bylaw is consistent with the OCP.
• The bylaw’s sole purpose is to allow residential development (whole or in part).
• The residential portion will make up at least 50% of the total floor area.
