Vernon Paddling Centre and Vernon Adaptive once again bring the World Tour Paddling Film Festival to the Vernon area. Watch and be inspired to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push extremes, appreciate wild places and embrace the paddling lifestyle. Join us for this World Tour screening that raises valuable funds to make paddling more accessible in your community, then go paddling! We’re pretty sure you’ll want to. The Club will have outrigger boats on display and a cash-only concession by Vernon Adaptive, with door prizes during intermission.

4-session Latin Ballroom Rumba Dance series (International Rumba) for both beginners and intermediate dancers.
Spread over 4 Sundays:
April 12, 19, 26 + May 3.

You'll learn Latin technique (footwork, hips, arms) along with the steps - combined in a beginner-friendly routine to dance anytime you feel like it, or use in different social dance settings.

Advanced dancers are welcome to deepen their technique and styling.

Join the City of Vernon Climate Action and Emergency Services departments for a workshop specifically for service providers to discuss emergency preparedness and resiliency in your organizations. This workshop will cover the topics like grab and go bags, emergency plan and leave room for open discussions about emergency preparedness with other service providers. Registration and all materials are free, and door prizes will be randomly given out throughout the workshop. Snacks and refreshments will be provided!
